Well, here it is Folks! The 1959-1974 Yashica 44 LM! Makes a 4cm by 4 cm square negative or slide on 127 film. Yep, that's right, 127 film. Only place that's made anymore is in Croatia and Rumania. But we got some...... ASA 100 B&W...... that, and one slide film are all there is, so there's never a problem as to what kind of film to shoot.

I picked up one of these beauties off KEH, my favorite camera store for those off the wall, used models and apart from the light meter, it all seems to work pretty well. Focus tracks need some cleaning up and I'll get that done.

A camera like this is really what I started out with in about 1963 while teaching Electronics School at Treasure Island for the Navy. Kept one for a long time and then saw this one and decided, what the Heck, let's see what happens. Course, I don't have a negative carrier for any enlarger I own, so I made one out of mount board that works right well.

See what you think.....
